The right side window motor in my 98 vert went late last year. I finally got around to replacing it last week. To replace it I had to remove the window and regulator. That part of the job went fine. However, it seems like I developed a water leak and I am really struggling with getting the window adjusted. Part of the issue was some old weatherstripping so I replaced the front and center weatherstrip, but I'm still having some issues.
Does anyone have the factory window adjustment procedure? The basic adjustment is pretty straightforward, however, I'm not sure what the adjuster shown below is used for. The question is about the long adjuster to the left of the larger adjusting bolt.
Also can someone tell me what this adjuster on the top is for? It's the one I'm pointing to with the screwdriver. You can turn it in or out but I'm not sure what impact it has on the top.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Water leaks are a real pain to fix.
