ABS Service
I have been this ongoing problems for months. I will start the car and get Service ABS Or Active Handling on the DIC. I took the vehicle to dealer and they could not find the problem . I disconnected the battery and waiting for over 24 hours to reconnect the battery. I have reset the fault codes. The problem does not happen all the time when I start the car. Example: I started the vehicle this morning to take it out of the garage to wash it and the fault came on the DIC. After washing the vehicle I then started the vehicle to put back into the garage and no fault on the DIC. I check all grounds connections last year.

When it does it again, search here on the forum for how to pull the codes and see what you have. Mine sets a C1243 quite often on startup - which is a dragging ABS motor. If yours is a 2000 or older that might be the most likely suspect. Of course the bad news for the '97-2000 is no known fix except to buy a $1000 used unit from a wrecking yard, with probably the same problem.
