(2000 Coupe) My temperature control is confused. If I set it on 60 degrees, it blows cold, as it should. Any setting above 60 degrees and it goes to full heat. I used to have a 1998 with the same problem and I never did get it fixed. It'd sure be nice if I could fix this one.
Check your codes. It is a good start to try and figure out what is happening. Need to see what the HVAC codes are. You might need to re-calibrate your actuator doors.
Is there a special code reader for the ATC like there is for anti-lock brakes or will the OBD2 reader give me A/C Codes ? I was told if I disconnect my battery, it might fix it. Does that sound logical ?? My 98 did exactly the same thing. I had all the way hot or all the way cold. Apparently this is one of thoes "Corvette Things" I wouldn't understand... It seems they all have the same issues.

Hard to believe you have been a member since 08 and on your second Corvette and don't know how to read codes. You don't need anything to read codes on a C5 Vette. That feature is built into the car. This link describes how to use the dic to read all the codes.

Most cars have a similar feature but my question was whether or not my OBD2 reader would read A/C Codes. It doesn't read ABS Codes. Thanks for the link though.

What other cars have this feature? Ever car i have ever had just displays a check engine light or service light.

Nearly all of them. As I recall, on my 1996 Dodge 2500 Diesel the procedure was to quickly turn the key on and off. It wasn't as good though. It just flashed the check engine light. You had to count the flashes. Different cars are actuated differently.

Once again, thanks for the link. The on board computer does a much better job than my code reader. I don't have much experience repairing ATC but I guess I'm about to get some. My code was B0367H, Right Actuator Feedback open. I have the 1998 factory manual which should be the same as my 2000. It gives me a test procedure to determine the cause. I haven't looked for the Removal instructions yet but hopefully it won't be too much of a nightmare.

Reset the code with the air running. Sometimes this will cause the actuator to start working again, sometimes not. You might have to do it several times and the fix is likely temporary.
