Spartin 228/232 113 LSA +2 After talking to bill, the spartin cam from Josh really sounds like what I'm looking for.
Brian's cam and my cam will be pretty close in power. There's only a 1 degree different in intake and 2 degrees of exhaust, not enough to differentiate one from the other really. The Tick cam you listed will make some great low-mid range TQ but it's gonna run out of breath a lot quicker than the other 2 cams. Mine and Brian's cam is a great mixture of midrange power while still retaining the breathing room to pull 6600-6700rpms without a problem.

Hi Josh,

I'm also in the market for a cam; I looked at your web site to see what you offered, but saw no parts listed. I also did not see on your site where you listed the cost for tuning. BTW, can you do a "mail order" tune?

Thanks,
Jon

Hey Jon,

As of right now I do not sell camshafts through the shop. I have them cut through my camshaft vendor (Cam Motion) with my requested specs/lobes, then the customer calls to process the order. If you're interested in using one of mine I don't mind calling it in.

I can do remote tuning through email if you have an HPtuners cable. This is the most accurate way to do it without actually having the car. I don't do any mail order tuning due to the fact that no data logging is present when you're tuning just the PCM, and you're making blind adjustments off assumptions of what the car "might" like. If someone has an HPtuners cable so I can send AND receive data from the car, I'll be more than happy to do remote tuning help.

Another Spartan Performance customer here. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Josh has done on my car so far. I had one of his cams in my 04Z and loved it. The in-town and low speed driving was excellent.

I had Ed Curtis spec my cam. I believe he massaged one of his StreetSweeper HT cams. 228/232 614/600 111. This thing pulls hard from 2500 - 6600. I love the aggressive idle as well.

Pat G EPS cam here. 226/230 .600 114 +3
2000 A4 coupe.
Nice idle, a little chop, has run 10.99 @ 124.
In a stick car, this would run 127
However, AFR heads, FAST intake, headers etc.
Very stealthy
