Default cam question

I have a 2001 Z06 with long tube headers and a Halltech air intake. The car still has the stock cam. Thinking about a cam swap for a daily driver, may see the track once a year. I would like to see what other forum members are running and how they like it. I've been looking at cams in the mid 220's intake and low 230's exhaust.

Contact a forum sponser and have them grind you a custom cam tailored to your needs.

Something in the 228/233 112LSA area would make good power and be streetable.

I've been running a 224/232 610/610 114+1 for over a year now. Drives
like stock unless you push the go pedal down. This with an auto with
3:42 gears. No surging or idle problems like I had with my last cam.

Even with my new Bridgestone Potenza Re050a that are pretty sticky tires it still spins the tires for several seconds at 30mph. Couldn't be happier
and it's got all the power I want. I do have headers and trickflow 220
heads also.

224/232/116 for me. Put down 604RWHP with an A&A Supercharger. From the research I have done the cam added around 35RWHP.

Had a 233/239 113 until I had a lifter go. Infact my thead is on the 1 pg of C5 tech if you care to look at the carnage. Along with Boltons, that setup made 412/380. My new cam is a custom grind. 234/242 112+3 No numbers as of yet...

the tsp 228R is a pretty common cam. good street manners. I added that with headers, PRC heads and a the FAST 78 that came with the car and went from 330 rwhp to 450 rwhp
