water pump gaskets
Received a new pump and gaskets today. GAskets in same box and they are bent from pump. Since these are relatively soft and aluminum, will it not really matter once pump is tightened down on these, or could this cause a leak?

Unless the aluminum frame is cracked ir creased, it shouldnt matter too much The rubber seal that is embossed on the frame is what seals the pump to the block. If the seal is in place and not loose on the frame, you should be good to go.
Call the place where you purchased it from and see if they have gaskets to replace it with.
