About to install hyperflash harness for my new LED's. In order to remove kick panel, have to remove sensor cover first. Just realized I won't be able to do that with the Dash Trim Kit I installed years ago with 3M adhesive tape. Is it possible to remove that piece of trim, without damaging it, or the actual dash?
Not sure which piece you are refering to but in general
You'll have to carefully warm it up with a heat gun or maybe a hair dryer then get behind it with a scraper and while still heating it gently pry it off.
At that point while prying it maybe you can cut the 3M adhesive with a box cutter to help it along.
You can buy new 3M adhesive at Autozone.

The sensor cover will pop right out. Use a tool to grab inside one of the slots, not on the outside edge of the cover.
The problem is not the individual sensor cover, but the cover surrounding that sensor & ignition , which I can't remove since its covered by the dash trim I installed.

It should still come out just like stock its just stuck on correct? Pop that slotted piece off and there is a bolt behind it I believe and you should be able to get more room to push it out so you don't have to remove the whole deal. If I had my car I would double check but pretty sure that's how I did mine when I put that hyperflash on

Yes, it's just stuck on thin strips of 3M tape.
I'll try what you said & let you know if it works
Thanks!
