have seen a picture of aghast flange gaskets on the "picture" area of screen Rol-EG24685.Are these the 2-1/2'' id gaskets used for cutbacks?
when I go on their site they say they have no items for c5 corvette,so what was the significance of the picture? Any idea?

Reason: damn spell check
To all responders thanks for input. trouble is by the time I add the shipping costs I save maybe 4$. I checked o'reilly but since they are not w/ in my range shippings is $12.00 for 4 gaskets + tax.looking for someone in east coast that won't hammer on shipping.

You have NO auto parts stores w/ in your range that carry Walker exhaust gaskets, or another brand in which they can cross-reference the Walker number?
lonestarfrc, was just checking that very thing, oddly although local advance auto, walker auto parts show the flange under that part #,when i put in for corvette they say part doesn't fit!? they don't show any inside diameter measurements i.e. 2 1/2''. ? could this just be some kind of baloney, guess ill have to go to store and measure diameter myself.

You're possibly not dealing with a REAL parts man (VERY possible nowadays), that actually knows how to think and/or has experience. Sounds like all he knows is how to plug in your year/make/model into his computer and tell you "it doesn't fit", because the computer "says so".
Ask him if he has the part in stock or not; if so, go look for yourself, since obviously the mouth-breather you spoke to, isn't really interested in helping you with your purchase.
If you don't have an old one to take for direct comparison, lay the new one down and trace around it on some paper and take the paper home if necessary to compare.
One last thing, bring your own tape measure. Zippy probably doesn't have one of his own.

Nice job.
One thing that really ticks me is some so-called "parts man" that doesn't know their azz from their elbow, unless their precious little computer screen "tells" them so. All they are, are clerks to ring up sales, not actually think, or know much about the actual subject matter that's providing them a job. Unfortunately that's more and more the case these days.
Lonestarfrc, Thats cause all the small speed /parts shops got put out of business by the big chains. I remember when I was a kid i'd go to the local parts store w/ a part I didn't even know the name of,they would find it on microfilm (or something like that).Send you home with the right part 9 out of ten times…..those days are gone.Anyway thanks for your ideas and input nice chatting w/you.peace out
