Default Return Air Sensor

I just got done fixing my heads up display. I was putting the car back together and can't find the plug for the return air sensor. Don't really remember taking off the plug. As long as I'm here I thought I'd try to wire it correctly. Does anyone know where these wires originate or come from? From which direction? I've looked everywhere.
2000 Convertible
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the picture. I took the HVAC control out and found it behind there. Mystery solved. It appears it was not hooked up when I took it apart.
