Headlight low beam plug melted

Default Headlight low beam plug melted

I need some help trying to find a low exam headlights plug... Looks like it melted. Where can I find a replacement to solder one in? I don't want to buy a whole new harness for one plug
Car is a 2001 Convertible... Please help guys

They are available at almost all auto parts stores, Advance, Autozone, NAPA, etc. for a few dollars.

There is also a (heavy duty) high temp version if your interested

Properly splice it in and your back on the road.

Arcing due to loose connection would be my guess.

Concur with above and Chris308's comment on loose connection. Over the years I've had to replace one connector in both my 2001 & 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Only thing in common was both were on the low beam and I was running Wagner Truview headlight bulbs (correct wattage). Up until I installed Radioflyers ACA HID setup last month, ran the Wagner's in the 98 C5 for years without any problems.
