OK, This issue occured after I bought the '00 FRC and was repaired in April under the TSB at the dealer. This Friday after work it happened again! :mad
Do you know if there is a permanent fix?
I believed that they did the sender replacement.
What now???????????
Same here on my 99 FRC (third time) waiting for the solution!...permanent fix??? sell the Vette & buy something else..sorry but I haven't heard of any other solution...hopefully C-5 Tech can update us :yesnod:
Though I have replaced MANY fuel senders on the 97-2000 as per the TSB and have had 100% success (I just jinx myself),the word is that it isnt a permanant fix...From what I have been told by higher-ups,GM is still working on this issue  ....Possibly a reprogram update in the future, such as the one released for the 2001-02 recently :yesnod:
I haven't had the problem in my '00 yet but I read here on the forum that someone used RedLine gas treatment and the problem went away.
Maybe someone will chime in and verify that.
Just got my 98 Coupe back from the dealer, they replaced the sender. I stopped and filled up with gas and the gauge doesn't go all the way over to full. I was wondering if you had seen this before. I am getting ready to leave on vacation and wasn't going to try and take back until I get home. Thanks for any info. Jim

.
My 02 bought November, don't know the build date, has the problem. Comes and goes, gone right now. This reprogram you refer to will cure it? The reprogram does not require replacing the fuel sender?
Same thing here, had it fixed a few months ago and just now just had a intermittent recurrence. Warranty's up at the end of the year and I'm very concerned that I'll end up paying for GM's problem.
BTW: Same thing happened on my Jag X-type when new. (Just lucky I guess.)
