'02 Z06 Door Question
So, for a few days this week it has been about 30 in the morning and evening when I have been driving.
When I open the drivers door, get in the car and close the door for the first time I thougth I heard a solid "clink". It took me a few times to realize what it was, but it seems that my window is occasionally getting caught on the blow out clip that is attached to the roof that holds the window into the seal when the door is closed and holds the window out on top of the clip. I realized this was it when I started driving and the road noise was higher then normal, and I lowered the window and closed it again, essentially putting the top of the window back under the clip.
Since I have only had the car since July and this is the first time I have saw the issue. Passenger door seems OK, and the window when closing is a mm or two away from the clip.
From what I have researched, seems I should tip in the top of the window just a bit to prevent this? Anyone had the same problem and solved it?
Its just odd that it has gotten cold, and its happened
Just curious what the forum thinks.
Thanks in advance.
