Need a bit of advice. I have a set of non-runflats that are going to be dedicated to DE events and general race mayhem. I will use run flats though for everday stuff.
I was planning on running a bit of negative camber (maybe half or 3/4's of a degree) both to help getting through the twisties as well as to wear the track tires a bit better. However, I recently read a thread where the comment was made that any negative camber will really fry the run flats due to the hard sidewalls.
So, I'd appreciate any thoughts or experience anyone has had with my little dilemna.
Thanks mucho!
Good drag strip and good street alignment are basically the same, but good track alignment is not good for the street. You can go with a middle of the road alignment which is basically stock GM alignment and get along pretty good on both tires, but you will give up some performance on each set of tires.
