Ran into a situation in an Autox this weekend where we got the car out of shape a bit and the car just shut off. 2004 z06.
Well, maybe more than a bit, but not to the point where it was going to turn itself around. And it just shut the engine off. Still had electrical power, dash lights, etc. Just shut off the engine. Did not stall the car. The engine shut off. Is there some sort of yaw sensor that is maybe adjustable that we can look at?
I'm also wondering is there a way to turn off all the nannies? Seems trac OFF leaves the ABS ON, and Competition mode keeps active handling ON. Did I miss a way to get ABS and traction control off?
Ok, thanks. To be clear, the car didn't spin. Did get very sideways but as soon as the engine shut off it straightened right up. Stopped the car, engine fired up, drove away. tires were free wheeling. Wouldn't have expected a stall under those circumstances.
