Default Need tires

Looking for new tires, my friend has a 650hp CTS-V and I want similar tires that he has. He has like street legal drag radials. I asked him what kind they are but he hasn't gotten back to me. So I am going to get c5 Z06 wheels. My car is going to be pushing close to 550whp after my supercharger is installed. Any comments / suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Looking for strictly summer tires that grip and good in rain.
Sorry if that didn't make sense.

Thanks! - Anthony

Any of the nitto, or Mickey Thompson drag radials work. M & H works very good!

I was looking at the nittos, and these will be good for street use as well?

ya the nittos are fine on the street. If road racing and want tire for that than the re 11 is great, but not a drag tire. Two different worlds. I had best luck with M and H and the Mickeys.

0So my wheels will be here today. What tire size should i get?? Up front I have 18x9.5 and in the back 19x10. I am going to get the Nitto Invo's. But the whole tire size thing confuses me. Will *245/40ZR18 97W (Front) and *255/35ZR19 96Y (Rear) fit?

Toyo R888
Nitto NT01

I run 315/35/17 all around on stock bolts.

with the power you have, you will still spin these stickey tires.

Anything less grip than those, you won't get to push the car to it's potential.

Alot of porsche GT3s, Lotus run them as a Street tire.

I know they will not last as long, but the grip level is phenominal!

If you plan on street driving much, the drag radials wear out fast.
Get a set of good street tires for everyday driving put on new wheels and put the drag radials on the old rims and only use them when you are planning on hard driving.

It does not take long to swap all 4 with a good low profile jack and an electric impact wrench.
