Default My feelings

Ive pondered this dilemma for a few months now. Ive owned my car since New. it does not have one ding or dent anywhere. I always liked the side moldings by design. I like the car with or without. I know I could remove my molding with no issue, garage kept and never been painted. I've gone as far as aligning a dozen or so cars together via photograph with my car at similar angles to see if there is a clear plus for my taste. while the non side moldings give the car a cleaner look. The added moldings give it another look, similar to the air diffusers found on many combat fighters aircraft wings. These diffusers are also found on many commercial aircraft. To me the non molding cars, while cleaner, look like a more entry level body. Its just my perception of the two differences. I have the ability and the right car to do this to my car. With and after very careful consideration, I'm opting to keep mine on for the look, not for the protection. Many people want to change something for the sake of change, I also understand why some people like the cleaner look. I've never been a follower of trends and I'm not easily lead around by the nose.

Well I found out that my door had been repainted not when I removed the BSM but when it fell off on its own. So my choice to remove the rest of them was made for me as I am now planning to have the entire car repainted. But since I am now going to do that, I also now have rear flared fenders, rear spoiler, Breathless Performance rear brake vents, front spoiler and deciding on which front fender flares to buy. All this because the passenger side door BSM fell off. Some days you just have to roll with what comes.

Very funny! I hear you though.... From the sounds of it I'll need to be on the lookout for pics of your car. Sounds awesome
