Has anyone any knowledge regarding SLP 1.85 rocker arm upgrade. I'm considering it. I have a 2004 Z06.
Any feed back would be appreciated. I would like to know what material is best, (Steel, aluminum Etc. I have been reading a lot of conflicting opinions.
Thanks,
Would anyone suggest other manufactures, makes, models and sizes.
If your heads are stock and you want to increase rocker ratio, steel has the longest fatigue life and the ones you are looking at are fine. You may want to bump up your valve springs as well, I would personally go with the PSI 1511ML valve springs.
I doubt if you'd notice much, if any power improvement, but the new valve springs is a good idea. Man up, and put a cam in there; real big gains can be had with even a medium-small cam.

The naysayers will tell you they don't work, but I ran them for a couple of years on my SC 98 and they do give a noticeable improvement.
As vettenuts mentioned you will have to change springs with the increased ratio.
The SLP rockers are made by the same company that makes the stock rocker so you won't have to shim them to get the wipe pattern right.
