I know I know ... "There is never enough HP"

But Seriously ... there has to be a limit or number at which you would be satisfied.

This is a dumb poll to some ... but humor me ... and be honest ...

Please vote ... :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::coo l::cool:

All HP is Rear Wheel HP

LETS MODIFY THAT TO A DAILY DRIVEN VETTE

At a point, 450rwhp+ or so, tires will spin at will in most gears. Hooking becomes an issue.

Beyond a certain amount you really need slicks at the strip to take advantage.

Unless you plan on doing crazy 200+ mph runs.

That is why I posed the question ... I see more and more Sig's with 400+RWHP which is actually a WHOLE lot of power regardless of who you are ... and was wondering if those people have a limit ...

I mean ... the stock RWHP ... is pretty insane when copmared to most cars and most others in the 280RWHP range stock ... are big trucks ... so the Vette stock is fast enough for some ... I voted 350RWHP ... stock Z06 power...

Close to 500 is good for now... It is very usefull at 100MPH + on the track. ;) I will be looking for 600+ in the next round of engine Mods (427 w/SC or TT) :)

Well, right now I am very content with 480rwhp, but I have this weird feeling I will be spraying another 150rwhp into it in the fall! :D

I have a little over 500 RWHP now, but I still plan to do the motor...so I voted 601+. It really is necessary. :)

i would say 450 would be my goal. even in an A4, i still loose traction when 2nd gear hits like if launching the car isn't hard enough already. with the runcraps there were times my rear fishtaled, now with my new BF goodrich KD's on 18X10.5 Y2k's i don't get it anymore but i still have problems launching. 450rwhp would only be to increase my trap speeds since A4's trap so low

Im planning my first mods now and I will be happy just to crack into the 400-420 rwhp range. I don't need much more then that for local cruising and playing. I can always get a 75-150 shot for a bit of added insurance :)

For me, 350RWHP or a little more would be enough for me. It would it from differentiate it from most of the C5s on the street.

I have no plans to run it at the strip because it's a vert and would have to butcher the car for a roll bar. Also, the demise of class racing in favor of bracket racing kills my desire to take it to the drags. Pitting my skill to get more power out of a given set of parts is what I enjoyed anyway.

Once my car gets a proper tune, it should be at the 475 to 480 RWHP level. That will put me about 150 RWHP less then where I'd like to be. I'm shooting for at least 600 RWHP and that should be enough.

After a certain point it gets unstreetable.. or at least not enjoyable to drive on the street.

600 hp w/o spraying would be good for me (Assuming I had a vette, heh).

There would be traction problems.... but I could manage to tame it....

With 600 hp... u can drive to the track and then race w/ 150hp shot there, and then drive back.

No, there is never enough power....and no, we aren't your typical vette owners....typical vette owners would cringe at the thought of mods....and most of us are addicted to them!

IMHO I would say add as much HP to the point where things just start to break. Then back off a touch.
