I have a 2003 corvette with an LS6 and I've been dyno tuning the engine. At around 3600 RPM, there's a knock detected. Happens everytime. I'm having trouble tracing the problem and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Some upgrades include KandN cold air intake and SLP exhaust.
I've changed the spark timing with HP tuner software to see if it impacted the knock. Not much change so I figure it's something in the engine.
Are you reducing the timing in the cells before the knock?
Which table are you tweaking? High, low, or both?
How much are you tweaking it?
What's the air fuel ratio doing in that area?
Do you switch to winter fuel where you live?
