Hi all..I manually raised the left headlamp in order to reach down and change my left front blinker bulb. When I cranked the headlamp back down,I didn't use the car for a few days. Usually, when I first start it up in the garage, the headlamps come up until I get outside into the light. They then close. Now,they will not open at all. I can turn the lights on and I can see that they are on,but they will not come up..I am stumped!! Any help will be appreciated!! Thanks!! Jack

Let's start with checking to see if you have the twilight sensor/mod on and go from there.
I checked and the Twlilight Sensor was off. I turned it on on the driver's onfo panel, however it made no difference. The headlights would not come open..
Can you hear any sounds (grinding or motor running) coming from the headlight motors when you turn on the headlights?
Left as in sitting in the driver seat? If you meant passenger side, the headlight control module is below that headlamp and you might have knocked off/loose the electrical connector?
Have you checked fuses 3 & 4 in the engine compartment fuse box? (right and left headlamp motors respectively.)
Headlamp control module may have failed. Not an inexpensive component.
I have checked the fuses and they are good. There are no sounds of any kind when the headlights are turned on. The connections seem to be ok,all wires attached and none loose..Thank you for your help!!
