When I hit a bump it makes a high pitched squeak sound seems to be coming from the left front area. I've heard lots of squeaks rattles and noises (former c4 owner :) ) Got any obvious ideas all you squeak and rattle gurus??
98 coupe
The most common squeak is the frame mount bushings which mount the sway-bar to the frame. I would use some waterproof grease which doesn't eat rubber. Then pull the frame-mount bushings and grease the inside where the bar goes through. If that dosen't work then it's the a-arm bushings. If you have the rubber bushings there is no apperent fix accept for changing over to the polygraphite and greasing them real good when installing.
It's Baaaaack!!! probably the sway bar bushings when I lubed the hood stops I also sprayed Wd-40 on the bushings. They probably dried out already. Will try some spray grease maybe??
Oh no! :cuss Son of a gun....... Valvoline makes a great synthetic spray lube that might help. Hope you get it without the "disassemble" process! :smash: Good luck.
