LS1 edit/check engine light- got a question
i just got my 01 Z06 back from the dealer (they replaced the clutch) and now there is a check engine light on.
what i am wondering is this:
IF they disconected the battery, do I lose my LS1 edit ?
how do I check for codes and what made the check engine light come on ?
how long should I drive the car to let the clutch break in ??

ok- i got the codes and deciphered them
i went and tried to clear them and it didnt work and the check engine light is still on.
has the LS1 edit affected the code clearing/light going off ??

so it seems im running lean on banks 1B and 2B (kinda understandable since I have the cam)
the others are door codes- i have no clue why i'd get those.
i spoke to MTI this AM and they said that the codes arent all that important, but i'd like to get to the bottom of this and get the darn check engine light OFF ! !!

Sometimes things just freak out.
When your displaying a code in the DIC hold the reset button. This will clear the code and check engine light. Once everything is reset start the car and see if the codes come back. If they do you have a true problem. If not then enjoy.
