I don't remember the technical details of the conversation but he basically said that some damage can be done to the valves if I drive it.
Only way a broken header bolt could damage valves is if you had a serious exhaust leak, then over time you could possibly burn a valve... But nothing otherwise.
If you pull the head and tig weld a nut to it make sure to let it cool before you try to take it out...
all this antics you're doing, you could of already pulled the head and have it repaired.
the passenger head is the easiest of the two...
it takes 10mins to pull the intake. the header is already off, you have a straight shot at the head. There's alot of info here, I have alot of pics too if needed to walk you through. If you can do headers, you can pull that head.

Well consider since one head is off, it won't take long to pull the other head and do a cam swap all at the same time. Might as well make the most of a bad situation. Damage done by running the car with one header bolt gone is possible but not very probable, unless as others have stated, its a real bad leak seeing high RPM's. Pull that head, let a machine shop fix it, might want to check valve springs while the head is off also.
I'll pull the head. Just have to order new bolts and gaskets. I thought about just ordering a set of PRC heads but I can't convince my wife on that purchase, same thing with a cam. They'll come at a later time.
