I am resetting the DIC and going to drive home and pull new codes again. Any preliminary prognosis Doctor?
Not that I know squat about it, because I really don't. But it struck me that all the codes seem to be history codes and none that are current. So, hopefully, as stated above, once you clear them they will stay cleared. Good luck, these darn electronics can be a real PITA at times.
MOST codes will be H or History codes if you pull them with the engine off. That's because most codes pertain to "operating" systems which are OFF when the engine is not running. There are a few exceptions, column lock is one that comes to mind, it runs BEFORE you start the car so those codes can show as C when the engine is off.
If you want to see codes when they are C or Current, then you need to pull them when the car has been driven and BEFORE you turn off the ignition.
H codes should NOT be ignored. They are an audit trail of events that have happened on the car and can be very helpful in identifying problems that occurred in the perhaps recent past. Clearing them and then driving the car to see what come back is a part of that process. Those that keep coming back deserve attention whether they are H or C.
Yes, I could not agree more, I write down what codes I get, then clear them. I guess I have had so much trouble in the last year that I am use to reading the codes at a stop light I did not however realize that most codes only came up as current if the car was running. Guess I never thought about it either. Thanks for the info I learn something, usually many things, every time I log in here. This forum is the most used tool I own.
First thing that comes to mind with the LDCM and RDCM codes as well as all the Uxxxx codes is a battery related issue. If you have recently changed/disconnected-reconnected the battery then those codes can be expected and should not return when you clear them and drive the car.
The TCS codes could be the result of a low/bad battery or loose or corroded battery connections or they MIGHT be for real.
If they are for real, they will return after you have driven the car.
If they DO return then post back here. The C1221 and C1222 codes are front wheel speed sensor issues which are usually wiring related. The C1217 and C1243 are BPMV relayed (pump motor stalled) and there are some things that can be done/tried to alleviate that issue.
Post back your results after clearing and then driving the car and pulling the codes BEFORE you turn off the ignition.
Ok, checked the #52 fuse and it was blown
Replaced fuse and everything working!
Then drove to Laguna Beach and back and got the following codes:
A6-SCM U1064 H
BO-RFA U1096 H
BO-RFA U1064 H
BO-RFA U1016H
I have a 01 Corvette z06 and having issues with the brakes wanting to lock up. This issue began to occur after replacing my ebcm which had an internal code that couldn’t be repaired. When I get up to about 10 mph it begins to occur and the traction control symbol comes on in the dash. I ended up unplugging the ebcm connector and was able to drive it without any issues other than the abs and traction control symbols appearing on the dash. Has anyone had this issue before or any idea as to what might be going on.

If you turn off Traction Control does the error go away? What are your front and rear tire sizes? However, it helps to have codes. Can't do a thing without codes. Anytime you get a message like that on the DIC there are codes that can be displayed. Use the C5's On Board Diagnostic System to display relevant codes on the DIC.
