Metallic sound
Hi I need some advice. My 98 with 65000 miles was making a loud metal to metal type of screetch, sort of like a bad alternator bearing.
I thought it was a pulley or tensioner, so I bought new pulleys and tensioners as well as belts. when i opened the hood the ac belt was in two pieces and the main belt was kind of 1 or two ribs off the crank pulley. I removed the belt so now there are no belts on the car and it still makes a metal to metal kind of sound.........Im hoping its not the crank pulley , but it really does not wobble .......any help guys....
