Default Heater fan noise
My 2000 C5 has a very noisy blower fan for the hvac system. I have listened to fans in cheapo cars and they are much quieter. Anyone else have this noise? What can I do about it other than junk the car?

Check for debris in the blower motor cage. Have seen where receipts, napkins, ..., get sucked in causing noise.
