Took off intake, now AC mixer not working
I hooked that up (had to do it by feel) and am pretty sure I had it connected, but the AC blower mixer won't change vents still.
Where does that line that goes into the MAP hook to? Could I have pulled that out? How do I trouble shoot this?
I don't have any codes. The idle is maybe a tiny bit rough.
The sound of the vacuum leak is not as loud as it was before I hooked that up.
Thoughts on where to go from here?

I extend mine and glued it into the rubber boot to make reinstallitation easier.
The line goes down to the passengers fender well and connects to the vacuum reservoir. You can test the vacuum there with the engine running
Some re-run a new line and be done with it. It doesn't have to be run inside the main wire harness but, it makes it like factory.
Battery acid can and will dissolve the line inside the harness. So,,, see if you see any signs of past battery acid leakage.

Is this something I can do without taking off the intake again? When I put that hose back on, I did it with the intake slid back a little in order to reach in there.

I'm guessing it pulled out. Where can you get that thin plastic vacuum line if I want to make it longer? Did you run a new one all the way from the tank to the manifold? Do they have it just at the auto store? What is it called? Thanks again!

I just added a length of line to the short OEM piece that was provided. Made a big difference.

k24556, Any tips on how you routed and secured it?
One last question... What is that large (1.5-2" diameter) hose with a rubber "bulb" on the end? Mine is cracked open completely.
Thanks!
Chris

If you dont extend the line, you are missing an opportunity to make LS engine maintenance easier.
There are THREE common nylon vacuum line diameters. Take a small piece with you and get the correct size line. I also uses a small thin coating of BLACK RTV to afix the nylon line into the the small 90deg rubber boot. Be careful and dont use TOO MUCH and clog the line or fitting when you insert it.
Call NAPA. They most always have unique and hard to find stuff like that. My 07 BMW K1200R Motorcycle takes a unique off brand blue colored antifreeze ( PENTOFROST N ) They had it!

I got my repair kit from ADVANCE Auto but Ive see the same type kit at AutoZone. Ask the counter man for help.

Well,,,,,,,,,, I did some research for you and I sort of struck out at all three places (locally). NAPA sells a 5/32" vacuum line ( part# 2-672) but I believe that the vacuum line we have is smaller.
Find some used vacuum line the same size, use a razor blade and cut the ends 90 deg clean and use some quality heat shring tubing with adheasive inside the shrink to join the two hoses together. Any electronics store sells it.
Just heat shrink it together.
