Window Control lights not working.

Window Control lights not working.
1998 Vert. Niether window control (driver or passanger) lights are working. All other interior lights seem to be fine. I suspect it's a fuse, but does anyone know if both controllers are on the same fuse? I was planning on changing them out with LED anyway, but would like to get everything working properly first. Thanks in advance.

The lights are powered from the door control modules. The driver and passenger modules are powered using different fuses. You might have some kind of serial bus issue from the BCM that is telling them to be "off" but I would think that would affect all the lights and not just the window switch lights. Of course they could all be bad but that would be hard to believe. I'll think about it some more.
Do you have the Memory RPO? If so, is it working OK? Grabbing at straws.

I see. Yeah both switches work fine. If the lamps are powered by the Control Module itself then yeah a fuse being out would cause more then just the lamp. Funny because those are the only two lamp sets not working inside ... except for the maplights (they are very very dim). All other interior lights seem to be fine. Door lock and window switches operate fine. Driver perference switch operates fine too. I dunno. I get home in a week and planned on taking them apart for a better look.
