Default 03 vette to low in front

I have trouble with the front rubbing when I pull in and out of my driveway. Someone told me that there is an adjustment for this? I only need an inch or two. How does it work and if so will I have to get a wheel alignment after raising?

if your car is lowered you just need to raise it back up....that being said you will get some rubbing of the plastic air dams regardless.

and yes you will need an alignment 99.9% of the time

tutorial for lowering so you can see whats involved http://www.frankhunt.com/FRANK/hobbi...5_Lowering.htm

If you just hear some rubbing you're probably just scraping your plastic air dam (very normal), its on hinges and designed to take some abuse, so no real issue with it rubbing every once in awhile.

If you're rubbing the frame in the front, you should hear a much louder grinding noise and FEEL it. This will typically rub if you pull in too far in a parking spot and hit the curb with the nose of the car.

Look under your car and you'll see the flimsy spring loaded air dam that sticks down ~2" below the frame of the car. I don't think you have much to worry about.

Thanks. Yeah it is just a slight rub. More coming out then going in. Going I am able to go in on an angle with one wheel at a time. Have not mastered coming out yet.
