Glad you got a good price on the alignment... We here in the Silicon Valley always have to pay more... Most of the rest of the US cant understand why... Can you Say... Ben Dover??

I found another shop to do the work for $69. I thought the Goodyear price was WAY out of line.

Ok, I'm back from the shop and not returning there again.
They wouldn't make the specs to Z06 because of liability issues. The owner also stated that the cars frame wasn't designed for it :rolleyes:
After taking the alignment guy he said we could set the factory specs but use the MAX settings.
We found that my LF Caster was 1% less then the RF and that my rear toe was +13 :eek:
This is what I left with on the sheet.
LF -0.7 RF -0.7 Camber
LF 6.7 RF 6.4 Caster
LF .06 RF .06 Toe In
LR -0.6 RR -0.5 Camber
LR .06 RR .03 Toe In.
I need to find better shops for my next visit. :cry

A 4 wheel Laser Alignment, here in Detroit at a local chain of tire stores, runs $125 for a 4 wheel alignment on a Vette. Extremely accurate!
I would think that there would be a considerable cost difference between a Laser alignment and the more conventional machines, and maybe that's why the prices are varying so much in the responses to your question.
Find a shop with the Laser set-up, and the factory specs should be available within the computer of the alignment equipment itself.
