What is your budget? do you want to go up in size or stay stock? Tire rack and other venders have rotors and pads pretty cheap. google will come up with many supporting venders... also check out the banner on the right side of the web page has a logo for supporting vendors. I have bought things from Southerncarparts, West Coast Corvettes and others like ECS are great just to name a few....
Stock Sizes:
* Baer decelarotor
* Delco Durastop rotors and Ceramic pads
* Centric Slotted
* DBA
* StopTech

Verifying if the OEM 17" wheel fits over the C6z51 brakes <--- C5 caliper does not clear... apperently you need C6 Caliper (smaller cooling veins)
C6Z51 (small upgrade, needs new brackets for calipers)
* OEM (check venders here for a full package)
* DBA

Still looking to see if the stock 17" wheel fits over this setup.... Looks like it will fit with front C6 calipers but not C5 calipers... C5 front calipers will work with a 18" wheel. so if you buy C6 calipers it will fill in the wheel and not rub according to this post...

C6Z51 Part Numbers are :
88964166 Front Caliper Brackets
88964167 Rear Caliper Brackets
89060328 Front Rotors

Try Gene Culley or Parts Taxi. Both Forum Vendors.

I put on a set of slotted and dimpled (not drilled) rotors from forum vendor TPS 3 years ago and they work great and were very decently priced

I just purchased a set Chrome rotors and cerimix pads from Brake World. Drilled, slotted and color coated. VERY good price. Don't know if they are a supporting vendor since I'm pretty new to the site. I guess you could PM me if you want the price I paid?

For a quality rotor look for Centric premium rotors, Tire rack has the best price I think. For a quality brake pad, take a look at the Carbotech 1521.

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.
