Default Oil Pressure Sensor Relocation block

I want a TPE style block to put an oil pressure sender and temp sender on the side of the oil pan. Since TPE no longer exists I contacted another company who makes offroad parts. They have an oil cooler adapter that goes on the LS oil pans. Since they were in my state I sent them an email and they seem interested but wanted to know about how many. I said I would post up to find out if there was interest and email back. I did post up on LS1tech with zero replies. Anyone in here game.

If I violated any forum rules please let me know.

Jason

Would this be a copy of the TPE part? If not, do you have a pic of it?

Yes, this is a picture of the TPE block. The TPE Kit had all the necessary parts required, to move the OPS to the oil pan location.Wire harness, plug for the closing of the original location, necessary gaskets, screws and full instructions to accomplish the move. I have a TPE kit on hand just in case it's needed. My thought is that this is a great method to fix a recurring problem. No cutting of the dash which to me is a MORTAL sin. If required to replace in the future, it takes more time to lift the car than to do the replacement of the OPS. I am totally amazed that people do not recognize this
neat clean idea is not totally accepted as a great fix.
OK, hopefully I made my point.

It would be a block similar that is threaded for the oil and temp senders. It would not be a copy, just a different version.

Great point! I have an LS swapped GMC jimmy and I am going to swap out clusters. Been testing with a c5 and need a three pin oil pressure and temp switch. This is the easiest and cost effective way. This would only be the threaded block.

either way, I am looking for feed back thats good, bad or indifferent.

Yup, the block itself, tapped for 12mm (oil temp sensor) and 16mm (oil pressure sensor) is the key part. The rest is easy to either fab (wire harness extension) or find (block plug where old sensor resided).

I also posted on LS1tech. Its funny how you see lots of people asking for the something only to hear crickets when it starts to materialize. I emailed the shop about the block and said no Buenos on replies. He said there going to fab something up anyways. I know if I can post this but the shop is hazzard fab worx in Spokane, WA. I named the place but didn't post a link.

we can close this out. I wont be posting in it again.
