Race headers have no provisions for the AIR system and the street headers do. Technically the race headers are off road use only because you have to eliminate the AIR system. Really it does not matter but I prefer the cleaner look of the engine bay with out the AIR system piping. Also makes getting at the plugs a little bit easier. You can pull out all the AIR system pipes and the AIR pump and just have it tuned out when you have the car tuned...just like tuning out the rear o2 sensors.

Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about the AIR system injects air in to the exhaust manifolds until the cats get up to temp. They are the metal tubes that bolt to each exhaust manifold. The tubes run to the AIR pump under the driver's headlight. You will hear the AIR pump running after a cold start and you will hear it shut off after a few minutes. The race headers will not have the flange and the street headers will.
