Default c5 header opinions

looking to upgrade from my stock exhaust without breaking the bank.
i researched and found 3 affordable options and looking for some feedback on which route to go with.

1. OBX stainless headers + mid pipe system

http://www.obxracingsports.com/products.php?pk=1708

2. Huron Speeds XS power longtube header system

http://www.texas-speed.com/p-4149-ts...xtensions.aspx

3. Texas Speed long tube header and x pipe package

I went with the XS-Power headers and pipes, and very happy to date. The OBX have had reports of fitment issues, but I have no first hand experience with them or with Texas Speed so really cannot comment. Good luck.

By the way the links you posted are out of order for XS and Texas Speed.

It's pipe, it's all the same. Just pick some good priced OBX off ebay for 700$

You get what you pay for, i wouldn't ever consider cheaping out on anything for my car. Sometimes its better to save up enough for good quality parts.

But there's no need to throw money away either
I couldn't imagine paying 1200-1400 for a header to run through street exhaust, when there are headers that fit great and make great hp
I went with XS power when they became available and love them

Save up a little more and go ARH. Fit and sound great.

Default headers

I have a 02 coupe and I went with the XS Power system and have had no problems. I had problem with the fit or installation and they seem to be holding up ok.

Come to our All Vette Show in my sig. Last year a guy bought a set of LG Motorsports' Long Tube Pro headers for $800 at our silent auction. Best headers out there! LG donates a set every year!
