I'm installing a hyperflash bypass unit.I'm having a problem removing the iats cover plate to unplug to access the screw behind it.It keeps catching on the front dash panel.don't want to force it .Any tips or info from previous installs would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't mention removing the center console cover, but i think i might have too.I'm using the instructions downloaded from the RadioFlyer site where I purchased the bypass unit.
If you will follow these instructions all the way through step 4, or step 5 if you decide to remove the driver's side knee bolster, these instructions should fix you up.
If you do want to remove the radio bezel and have an automatic transmission, you'll need to remove the AT shift ****, which is a special step also covered in the VE instructions.
thanks for the info gentlemen, slow and steady and I was able to remove the cover.rest of the install went well.DLR switchbacks with led running lights look awesome.
