6L80 Swap?
anyone know of any 6L80 swaps? As I start preparing for my auto swap, I would like to go 6L80 instead of the 4L65 or 4L80....any ideas on what it would take to put a 6L80 in a C5?

if you are going to do anything performance wise to the car go with the 4l80 not the 6l80.
There are more options on 4l80 builds, very few options for building a 6l80.
The 4l80 is more reliable then the 6l80 also.

Yea, there is a LOT done for performance which is why I am going to do an auto swap....gonna kill me to build my trans/diff to launch hard enough to run 9s lol.
4L80 is probably the direction I am going to go, assuming I can do it reasonably priced.

NOOOO.... 4l65 and 4l80 are WAYYYYYYY better than the 6l80.... 6l80's are not good transmissions.

Depends what you consider reasonable... We have done MANY 4l80 swaps.... Parts alone are 15K+
