Rear Window Defrost
Yesterday when I was having my rear glass tinting redone, the tinter tore both wires off of the rear defrost coils. Has anyone ever been successful at reattaching those? Is that a common occurrence and maybe a glass shop would know how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

There is a kit for reattaching the wires. I bought one at the local auto parts store for about 11 bucks to fix the same issue on my 95 Impala SS. Sorry to say I haven't tackled the project yet so I can't give a report on how well it works.

As a follow up, I took my car to a glass shop and they reattached the wires. They said that it wasn't uncommon for those to break off and they were able to hook them back up.
