Hey guys! Thanks a lot for the replies! It has been very helpful gathering all this feedback as to what the problem is or could be! I will be taking the car in a few weeks to have everything fixed on one go, that way I am not making trips back and forth. So I am just trying to gather as much info as I can. It's good knowing I can count on fellow Vette owners and by far more experienced than I am! Just learning as I go! Thanks again, and I will keep you guys updated!

Default Fixed!

Good news everybody! She's fixed and running better than ever!
I had the 02 sensors replaced which were placed wrong before, they were at a melting point had a new MAF sensor installed the other was plugged and had the fuel filter replaced which was horrible! Couldn't even blow air through it! Also I had a tune done on the car! Oh and I went ahead and had the wires and plugs replaced again to make sure! More good news is that the compression tests were excellent engine is still living the dream! I have the numbers somewhere lol so we're up and about again at 177,000+ miles! Thanks again everybody for helping out!

Get a scanner on it that you can see the output of the O2's and the short/long term fuel trims. If you graph them, and there's a problem, it will stand out like a sore thumb.

AND, you'll see which cylinders are throwing the P0300's, the DIC can't show specific cylinders, the P0301-308 will tell you which cylinder(s) are having problems.

I didn't read all the answers so maybe it has been said. It sounds to me like you need an 02 sensor. I would change them both. It isn't reading properly and obviously reading lean. So the computer is trying to make up for that by as much fuel as it can in the car which is obviously way to much. This is going to cause misfires and you may need to change your plugs again after changing the 02 since it is running so rich.....

MAF SENSOR PLUGGED UP??????

Man,,, someone made some extra money on you. Use some MAF cleaner and clean it out!

Unless it was dead or damaged electrically, you got ripped!

A 2000 has the smaller maf with a honeycomb screen. Certainly could be cleaned.....but too late now.

Glad to hear it's up and running well!
