Default headlight problem

last week I installed the DRL with switchbacks and Led strip. The new look is amazing. Thanks RadioFlyer.I did numerous checks of the lights and everything worked as it should.Tonight i backed the car out to put some items in the attic. The car idled in the driveway for roughly 10 minutes. When I pulled it back in and turned on the running lights one more time the headlight buckets also popped up but didn't light up untill I turned the headlights on . when I turned the headlights off they lowered, but the drivers side has a sound like the motor is stuck and runs for another 5 to 10 seconds.nothing appears to be hanging up on the headlight housing. My first concern is the lights coming up when I turn on the running lights. No idea where to start.it's a 99 vert.

A stripped headlight motor gear. It's fairly easy to repair yourself. Just make sure you buy the brass gear replacement kit. I recommend you do both headlights because it's just a matter of time before the other one fails.
