bolt the flywheel/flex plate on then bolt on a flywheel/flex plate lock. then torque it down as necessary, it will not move. If you look around, you can get 1 for $35.

I'm being ****, but it seems like it would need a few more teeth engaged to hold that much torque.

That's actually why I was asking; I was afraid I would turn the engine stand over even if I could get it locked.
Use that tool, or some other tool to hold the flywheel.
Get a pipe for your breaker bar.
Have a friend hang on to the stand. It won't be hard.
Or get a Scoggins dickey or arp bolt that isn't tty
