I consider it to be the best CL fix out there. In some cases the BCM timing is "not normal' and they may have to provide/replace it with one of their revised versions. Rarely this happens but it does in some cases. Richard is a great guy and they stand behind their product with great customer service. Richard told me he has sold almost 15,000 of these units. The price is very reasonable too.
Obviously, if the CL motor or pin is stuck in the locked position it will not fix that but you can address that situation if it is jammed in the lock position. It has happend to one or two people. We can help with that if needed.

I went with the LMC5, although I am one of the unlucky few who have the oddball car and needed the revised version. Richard was amazing in helping me get my car going again and went well above and beyond what I would consider even great customer service. For that alone I would recommend his product.
