It's part of the shifter assembly. That's why there is no number referring to it. Contact Gene Culley at gm parts house. He's a vender here and will give you a good deal on a brand new one. I got mine from him, works great! Shift handle is much better as well.

I currently have a C6 Z06 shifter in the car and there is a little vibration in it, this was a known problem and GM discontinued the C6 Z06 shifter replacing it with the standard C6 shifter (P/N 25823572). The difference is in the box, the C6 Z06 box did not have rubber mounting grommets and the standard C6 shifter had rubber grommets. This is why I need the later model shifter box.
