I use the 56 inch Race Ramps. Yes I bought them for the vette but they work on my other cars as well. Being 6'3 bending over to work on a car gets old on the back fast
Put the front on blocks using two jacks, one to lift side so I can get the other under the front saddle. Then lift rear a couple of inches higher. Drain for an hour or so minimum.

The dang plug is in the front of the pan, not the bottom rear where it should be. Thats why you have to lift the entire car.
There is a Chevy dealer about 45 minutes from here that changes the oil in any Chevy vehicle for $10.00 and yes they use mobile 1 and gm oil filter,,,,hell of a deal - Frontier Chevrolet, El Reno, Oklahoma
If you jack the car up using the front engine cradle, be sure to use a board between it and the jack to distribute the load over as large of an area as possible. Be sure to use some jack stands to keep you from getting crushed if the floor jack decides to stop holding the car up while you're underneath.

One thing I use that works really well is a weight (like you would use for barbells) that I have a piece of rubber glued to the top. I put that on the floor jack to distribute the lift area on the saddle. I also set the saddle (front and rear) on blocks similar to how a boat yard blocks up a boat for winter.

Dang... I need to start getting my oil changed while I'm in the city. What are the wait times like?
Hmmm I just jack mine up using the rear hole for the jacking puck on the drivers side. Lifts front and back at the same time take the 2 bolts out, remove oil filter and let jack down to drain. Raise back up and install oil filter and bolts. Let down and fill with oil. Takes all of 10 minutes start to finish.
Drive the car up on a 2 X 4's. I did that before I bought a low profile jack.
I I'd the same ,used 2 scrap 2x8's lifted it enough to use my floor jack, until I picked up the small alum.floor jack at Harberfreight on sale for $59,works great.
Low profile jack, jack up the from one side, slide a jackstand under the frame, remove plug and filter, lower car for a few minutes, jack back up and replace filter and plug, fill er up with some fresh oil. 10 or 15 minutes of fun.
