Info needed - Wheel sensor nut removal
I just bought a set of chrome valve stem caps and the accompanying chromed valve stem covers/sensor nuts.
Anyone know if the tires will deflate when I back off the stock sensor nuts prior to installing these. I have all the required gear, i.e. (low profile jack, air compressor, etc.), if the tires do deflate. Should I have each valve stem at the bottom of the wheel before removing the stock sensor nuts?
They're not going anywhere. They're held in there by 30+ lbs of air pressure, the nut just keeps the centrificle force of the wheel spinning from pulling them away and allowing a leak.
