Valve covers and coils
Can you mount LS3 coil brackets and coils on an LS1 valve cover? Or can you mount LS3 valve covers with coil brackets and coils on an LS1 head? Would you need a harness adapter in either case as well?
I have been searching and it seems you can use LS3 coils on an LS1 but I could not find an answer to the preceding questions specifically. Thanks for any information.

Not what I asked, but fair question. No the LS1 coils are not malfunctioning because I don’t have any coils right now. I do have the LS1 valve covers but also a custom finished pair of Holley coil covers. The coil covers are designed to mount on the LS3 coil brackets and have cutouts spaced for the position and size of the LS3 coils. Hence the questions asked.
