Fairly normal result of hitting curb stops. Shouldn't hurt anything judging from the picture. What you are showing is the lower radiator support extensions, the assembly bolts onto the front rails. That assembly is designed to bend like that. They are on Ebay for $200-$400. I doubt you have frame rail damage from that picture.

I am pretty sure that anyone who DDs their C5 has ones that look just like that. No real worries.

You could get a set of "fangs" they cover that up and help protect the support from curbs. should still fit right over it and will look alot better.

That's a pretty bad one. You should check and and make sure that the welds up where the lower radiator support bolts to the frame didn't crack. We have see several crack up high with this kind of impact. Remember it is holding the weight of a full radiator, fans and a/c condenser and needs to be secure. Fangs can help protect the skid plates and eliminate a lot of damage, but nothing will help the skid plates when they directly smash into something.

Thanks
Christian

They are just thin aluminum square tubing. You can have them repaired but its probably easier to purchase a new assembly and purchase some protection for the new ones.

The rust is a dead give away.
:-)
Your Fangs cover that beautifully. And they work great.
