Default OE clutch question

I'm about to get my clutch changed. I have a mostly stock drive train and engine, so not needing much performance from the clutch. The LS6 clutch is almost twice as much as a LUK clutch. From what I heard LUK is OE so it should be the same as the actual gm part? Is there anything about the LUK clutches that I should be concerned about? Don't get me wrong if it makes sense, I don't mind paying the twice amount for GM parts but I don't like throwing money out the window just for the name.

And there's the slave cylinder - AC Delco version of this is ~$100 yet the GM version is twice as much.

can be used to price match at your local dealer {if they are cool} or check with gm parts direct

summit may even price match if you get them on the phone and talk a good game, send them the link to that ad etc

luk kit is what? 320? i bet if you tried you could get a genuine ls6 for 400

I used a Doorman slave off of Amazon which was cheaper and works great without any issue, noise, or leak.

I just removed a 2002 clutch with only 7700 miles on it - still looks virtually new. I'd do $120 + shipping on it. PM if you want pics. Got the slave too - $25 + shipping.

Dang that's a good deal and I'm right next door to you but because the cost of labor on installing a clutch is high I'm opting to get a new kit this time around. I'll keep you in mind though

Let me know what other parts you have for sale locally, I might need some
