Default Verifying Trans Fluid Temp sensor function

I converted my '03 A4 to a RPM Stage V MN12. My A4 was getting too hot on the track.

I asked RPM to install the TFT sensor in my MN12. How do I verify the sensor, and the wires I added to my wiring harness for this function are working correctly? I am getting no codes. I have tracked the car once already.

If I temporarily short the TFT High Signal (to GND, with key on) will it trigger the DIC warning "TRANS TEMP HIGH"?

I ask because I am sensetive to the trans temp issue and I don't want to burn up this new one.

Thanks in advance.

I think I found my answer. I got cozy with the Service Manual and found the DTC code P0712 TFT sensor. It activates the "TRANS TEMP HIGH" on the DIC if the fluid temp is measured > 302F (or lower than 47 ohms) for more than 10 Seconds.

This is per the Temp vs. Resistance table in the Engine Controls section.

So... I should be able to measure ~ 2.5K - 3K ohms at ambient temp (per the table) at the pins going into the PCM for the TFT sensor. That will verify the sensor and wiring functionality.
