speedometer stuck on 95mph?
Hi all... I was removing my head unit today and when I got into the car, I saw the speedometer needle was stuck up around 95mph (I probably should not have tapped it because the needle then fell past 200mph). Then it all clicked in my head that this is why my speedometer won't sweep right on start up but everything else does! This is the 2nd gauge cluster for my car. It was replaced last year sometime because all my gauges kept cutting in and out at random for some reason and couldnt find the problem. I noticed from when I picked my car up after having the new gauge cluster put in that it never did a smooth sweep and would stutter around 95. I disregarded it though because everything else worked fine. Also I never drove it past the 95mph mark either so I cannot say if it will go past that point... I drive like an old lady...
Im not hooking my battery up or starting the car again until I get my stereo repaired and wired back up. Anyone heard of this problem?

Btw... I dont know why or how it got stuck like that because when u turn off the car, everything goes back down to zero.... im not sure how I missed it getting stuck it doesnt make sense.
