DTE Brace install in-car?
Howdy everyone,
I've searched everywhere but can't find any instructions other than the pre-tension sequence.
Anyway, is it possibly to install the bracket without lowering the diff out of the car?
I'd like to do this at home, without dropping everything out. Otherwise, I'll have to wait until the real build gets underway to install it.

Send us a PM with your email and any other questions, and we will forward an instruction sheet. Our tech says the trans doesn't need to be dropped down, and it is easiest with the exhaust removed. Be sure to include year, model, and trans.

I installed the dte brace in mine without dropping the trans or rear diff. I did it n my garage on jack stands, I got it done but it was not easy, lol. Would have been much easier on a lift. It would be simple to install if you had the trans/diff out for a clutch install or other work. With it in the car and no lift it was a tough job IMO.
